Tamara D. Holmes was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1977 along the Allegheny River and raised by the Cape Fear River in Fayetteville, NC. A spiritual connection of water led her to attend Hampton University off of the Chesapeake Bay. Her “Home By The Sea” introduced gifts of instruction, which educated Ms. Holmes socio-politically, academically and spiritually through the arts. This aesthetic spirit enlightened Ms. Holmes as a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. Thus aesthetics has been her cultural canvas.

Upon receiving a degree in Art, Tamara obtained her M.S. in Sport Management with aspirations of becoming a commissioned artist not only to business professionals but to professional athletes as well.

The medium of oil and acrylic painting utilizing beads as a form of texture allows Tamara to share with others what has encompassed many artists that have come before her... the belief that each individual has that special something, the use of artistic expression.
