Tamara D. Holmes was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1977 along
the Allegheny River and raised by the Cape Fear River in Fayetteville,
NC. A spiritual connection of water led her to attend Hampton
University off of the Chesapeake Bay.
Her “Home By The Sea” introduced gifts of instruction,
which educated Ms. Holmes sociopolitical, academically and
spiritually through the arts.
This aesthetic spirit enlightened Ms. Holmes as a graduate
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. Thus aesthetics has
been her cultural canvas.
